There are some important things you have to know☝️: 👉 When embroidering from the reverse side, this technique is called Lunéville, as it originated in the Lunéville region. 👉 Aari embroidery is worked from the top. 👉 Tambour embroidery is a more general term, referring to the tambour stitch and the method of stretching the fabric tightly in a frame, similar to a tambour (a drum).
