If a client only had 5 minutes for core, I’d start here. Most people think core training just means sit ups or long plank holds. In reality, the core’s main job is to control the ribcage and pelvis while the limbs move. We actually train the core continually throughout most sessions via controlled movement patterns that require a stable trunk (hinging / squatting etc).
