Psittacula eupatria napalensis (Hodgson, 1836) is a recognised subspecies of the Alexandrine Parakeet and represents the largest form within the genus Eupatria. It can be readily distinguished from other subspecies by its comparatively larger body size, broader head, and more massive, deep red bill. The species exhibits a robust cranial structure, contributing to its characteristic strong-headed appearance. Its natural distribution extends throughout the Himalayan foothills, encompassing Nepal,
