Some parts of Michigan haven’t had much rain this summer, and the severe drought ranking definitely shows in river levels. Low water levels also mean the amount of water flowing into the Great Lakes is very low right now. At a time of year when water levels drop due to more evaporation than precipitation, this will accelerate lowering Great Lakes water levels. (Joel B
