Creating on canvas for this small piece reminded me of why I love paper. But embracing the texture is fun too! I used all Jane D artsupplies as you would expect- AquaPastels are such a favourite I have to go hand this little one in for a fundraiser for Wallum- a local environmental protection attempt- I sure hope it’s successful! I really wanted to capture the joy and fun of using the neon palette in Life Drawing… and well… it’s fricken hard! 😂 but this is what I managed to get while my paper , palette and brush all jumped around with excitement. The trick is getting the angle while not annoying any other drawers, not filming the model, and actually capturing the action while I’m doing it. Maybe I’ll ask the Kathy the Magic Facilitator to help me? I’ve Never even thought of that before writing it just now… @sketch.appea
