From the technical point of view, NASDAQ needs to settle above the resistance at 22,850 – 22,900 to gain additional upside momentum in the near term. A move above the 22,900 level will open the way to the test of the 23,500 level.
Stock futures were little changed on Wednesday evening after the S&P 500 recouped some of its losses from this week's tariff-fueled slide. S&P 500 futures traded just below the flatline, along with Nasdaq 100 futures. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 37 points, or less than 0.1%.

After shuttering for the Fourth of July, it will be business as usual on Wall Street until early September. The next scheduled stock market closure is on Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day. State offices, banks and some grocery stores in Michigan will be closed for the holiday.
