Five Florida lawmakers have filed a lawsuit against Gov. Ron DeSantis after being denied access to “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis is pushing back on a new lawsuit filed this week by Florida Democrats related to the recent opening and conditions at "Alligator Alcatraz."

In response to “The View” host Ana Navarro saying that folks who visit Florida’s ICE detention center Alligator Alcatraz are “racist,” President Donald Trump’s team questioned the TV personality’s intelligence on Friday.

A man granted protection under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program has been sent to a newly opened detention center in the Everglades, known as Alligator Alcatraz, which was designed to hold illegal immigrants awaiting deportation.
