The flood in Hunt, Texas, claims the life of 19-year-old camp counselor Chloe Childress, causing grief in the community.

Jeff and Amber Wilson lost their lives in the flooding. As of Wednesday, July 9, their son, Shiloh, remains missing. According to a fundraising page set up by family, Jeff, Amber and Shiloh were in the Kerville area for a rodeo with Shiloh, who was described as a "young, spirited competitor." Jeff Wilson was a teacher in the Humble ISD.

Returning as a counselor to the place she loved so dearly, Chloe was looking forward to dedicating her summer days to loving and mentoring young girls at Camp Mystic.”

As search and recovery efforts continue in Kerr County during the severe Friday flooding, Houston-area families are waiting to hear about their loved ones who are unaccounted for.
