Kai Trump, the granddaughter of Donald Trump, and WNBA star Caitlin Clark are helping to bring new attention to women’s professional golf, but not everyone is happy about it.

For the second fall in a row, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's offseason included a stop at Pelican Golf Club for the Annika Pro-Am.

Caitlin Clark and teammates Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham enjoyed a day on the links during the LPGA pro-am ahead of The Annika at Pelican.

Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever and WNBA star whose presence has repeatedly swelled attendance at women’s sporting events, teed off Wednesday in the Annika Pro-Am at Pelican Golf Club, drawing teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull as her celebrity caddies for the day.

In addition to the play, Golf Channel said it will conduct live interviews during the round with tournament host Annika Sorenstam; Indiana Fever guards Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull, who will caddy for Clark; and Briana Scurry, former goalkeeper for the U.S. women’s national soccer team.
