Seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has stated that he doesn't want any elements from the current SF25 F1 car to be carried forward to the 2026 car. Hamilton suggested that Ferrari should start fresh to develop the new car after a disappointing home race at Silverstone.

Hamilton led the way in FP1 before taking third in Friday's second practice session behind Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, as Ferrari looks to be McLaren's closest rival both in qualifying laps and on long runs.
