Another season of “The Voice” is over and that means we have a new winner. The Season 29 finale of “The Voice: Battle of Champions” aired on April 14 with four singers and their coaches competing to be named the Voice.
Alexia Jayy from Levine's team was named the winner of season 29. Jayy is a 31-year-old R&B singer from Alabama. The mother of three was a frontrunner from the season's start, scoring a three-chair turn during her Blind Auditions. Levine, at one point, declared her to be "one of the best singers I have ever heard in my life."
Alexia Jayy reveals what's next after her Season 29 victory.
NBC has not formally announced The Voice Season 30 yet, but the show is already casting for it, with Adam Levine confirmed to return as a coach.
