The Indiana Hoosier men's basketball team (13-7, 4-5 in the Big Ten) needed a win. They got it Friday night at Jersey Mike's Arena by thrashing the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (9-11, 2-6 in the Big Ten) 82-59.
The Cream and Crimson entered the contest with five straight losses against the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway, New Jersey. While former Indiana head coach Mike Woodson never defeated Rutgers on the road, it only took first-year Hoosiers head coach Darian DeVries one try.
