A number of questionable decisions went against the United States men's national team during Sunday's 2-1 loss to Mexico in the Gold Cup final, including what appeared to be a handball by Mexican defender Jorge Sánchez that wasn't called.

HOUSTON — U.S. coach Mauricio Pochettino faulted match officials for three key calls in the Americans’ 2-1 CONCACAF Gold Cup final loss to Mexico on Sunday night, saying they wouldn’t allow a video review to deny an El Tri goal for the third time in the tournament.

The USMNT once again scored early but this time were unable to hold on as Mexico came back to win the Gold Cup Final 2-1 on Sunday night. Chris Richards opened the scoring just four minutes into the match after Patrick Agyemang, who was hacked all night, won a free kick which Sebastian Berhalter served up and Richards headed in.
