President Donald Trump is getting praise from his most ardent supporters for withholding some weapons from Ukraine after they recently questioned the Republican leader's commitment to keeping the U.S.

President Trump was speaking Thursday morning with Russian President Vladimir Putin – two days after the US cut off air defense missiles and other weapons to Ukraine, citing low American stockpiles.
