David Kaff, the British actor and musician who played keyboardist Viv Savage in Rob Reiner’s hit 1984 mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap,” died Saturday.

The real Vic Savage is dead. David Kaffinetti was the keyboardist in the band Spinal Tap back in 1984, and as of July 13, has died at the age of 79.
