The New York Yankees look to avoid a sweep over in-state rival New York Mets in the final regular season “Subway Series” matchup of 2025. First pitch is set for 1:40 p.m. ET, where Yankees ace Max Fried will take the mound against Chris Devenski.
Though it’s not free, you can also watch SNY live with its new in-market streaming package offered through MLB.tv. For $24.99/month (or $124.99/year), subscribers in the NY area will be able to stream every Mets game that airs on SNY.
Yankees announcer Michael Kay took issue with a comment Juan Soto made this week after the new Mets outfielder was left off of the All-Star Game roster. Speaking to reporters after the news broke, Soto said “it happens,” and it’s “a part of baseball.” He was then asked a follow up question about whether he wanted to play in the game.
